Ayam Bakar Pedas Bersantan ( Spicy Coconuts milk Chicken barbeque )

Okay, most of the member of our family side loved something very HOT and SPICY!!!My mom, my big brother, youngest brother and I loved spicy foods. But my dad, my younger brother.. they do not really much love to eat something spicy. One of the spicy dishes that I loved from mymom recipe is AYAM BAKAR, and she always use thick coconuts milk for this recipe so it's make it more...more and more DELICIOUS!!
Here is the recipe for Ayam Bakar :
***AYAM BAKAR PEDAS BERSANTAN***

Inggredients :
:: 1/2 of whole chicken
:: lemon / vinegar to let the bad smells gone
:: salam leaf/ bay leaf
:: lemon leaf
:: coconuts milk
:: fry oil to saute the spices
spices that need to blend :
:: 3-5 of fresh red chillies
:: 5 pieces shallots
:: 3-4 pieces of garlic
:: 5-7 cm ginger
:: 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
:: 1 tsp corriander powder

how to make :
1. Cut the chicken as like as you want, wash it and marinate with lemon juice or vinegar  for about 10 min,and then wash it again and drain them
2. Saute the spice that already blended, put salam leaf,and lemon leaf and salt to taste and stir well, cook until it smells good and the color has change in to darker color
3. Put the chicken, stir and cook with low heat fire, when the water come out from the chicken, put the coconuts milk and still cook it in the low heat fire.
4. Cook the chicken until it become tender and the juices reduce from the meat
5. Grill the chicken and serve with white rice, cucumber and salada and chilly paste.

chicken satay ( sate ayam )

Here's the easy recipe for satay;

Ingredients:
* chicken fillet 
* shallots
* garlic
* salt
* sweet soy sauce
* bamboo skewer
 ::::: cut the chicken in to a small pieces. Blend shallots and garlic together,mix it with the chicken. Marinate them and leave it for 30 min or 1 hour in the fridge. When it is done, put the chicken pieces in to skewers. Grill the chicken in to half done,and basting with sweet soy sauce then..grill them back till all the meats mature.:::::
For sauce :
* carnel peanuts
* red chillies 
* garlic
* lemon leaf (chopped)
* sweet soy sauce
* warm water
* vegetables oil to fry the peanuts
::::: Fry the peanuts, until it becoming brown. Then, leave it til cold. When the peanuts became cold, put them in to a blender with chillies,and garlic. Blend them to be peanuts paste,or if it's hard for you to find carnel peanuts, you can use peanut butter and mixed them with chillies and garlic which already fried. Put it in the bowl,mix it with lemon leaves,water and sweet soy sauce. You can add a pinch of salt if you desired. Pour on to skewered chicken ( chicken satay ). You can eat them with white rice or rice cake ( lontong ):::::

Klepon Dengan Kelapa Parut Kering (instant)

Ijoo..Ijoo...Ijooo..
Hmm..setelah mencoba membuat "Dango" japanese sweet glutinous rice, sisa tepung ketan akhirnya kubuat klepon saja. Bagi Ibu-ibu yang tinggal jauh dari kampung halaman seperti saya, susah menemukan buah kelapa yang segar buat diparut. Hmm parutannya juga gak punya ding hehe..
Tapi pasti ibu-ibu mudah mencari kelapa parut yg kering, yang sudah di packed dan dikeringkan.
Kalau menemukan jenis kelapa seperti itu, jangan khawatir..karena cara pemakaiannya mudah kok.
Mau itu di buat urap, isi dadar gulung, buat klepon atau apapun yang membutuhkan kelapa parut..cukup memberinya sedikit air panas,lalu dikukus. Hasilnya?taraaaa...sama seperti kelapa parut made in pasar ^-^ Niiiihh..saya buat klepon pakai kelapa parut jenis tersebut loh. Suami saya juga suka..rasa klepon juga sedikit mirip mochi. Jadi suami tercintaku suka deh hehe..alhamdulillah..
